A Thanksgiving Day Leap in Gratitude
Every so often, I will scroll down our left column here at Joyful Jubilant Learning, because those words describing our 7 Wonders of JJL Learning never fail to inspire me.
I think back to June of this year, when our hui (group) of authors here had our brainstorm, asking each other, “What joyful thing could we pull together to commemorate 07-07-07 for the once-in-our-lifetimes event it will be?” It was amazing how quickly the idea for our 7 Wonders came to be.
Learning is so easy to draw inspiration from, and for that I am always grateful.
Today I sat with LEAP for a bit. It says,
“LEAP — to a new experience, stretching past the familiar, accepting leaps of higher intuition. Allow learning to transform you.”
Do you feel that your appreciation for learning has transformed YOU over this past year?
For our American Thanksgiving last year, we put together a JJL community posting for the learning we were most grateful for, and we will be doing it again this year.
Would you like to participate too? If so, send your thoughts in a short paragraph to our JJL Community mailbox by 12noon EST Wednesday, November 21; we’ll post at 1:00am Hawaii Time on Thanksgiving Day, November 22. We will print your first and last name, linked if you have a url you’d like included.
This was Thanksgiving at JJL in 2006: Thankful for Learning.
Share your Thankfulness with us: What have you learned, which has brought you the most Joy over the past year?
~ Rosa Say for Joyful Jubilant Learning

I'm most thankful for being able to overcome trials and receiving so many blessings this past year. So much has happened and I didn't really know how to go about things but just the idea moving forward helped me a lot. While I didn't have the time nor the opportunity to reflect on those challenges, I certainly can now. It's great that you're spreading positive energy around by building that community mailbox. I hope a lot of people join.
